"But it would be a mistake to infer a shared Parsi political vision from these reformists; the rejection of Hindu "superstition" was common, but the political criticism of the Raj seems to have been rare. All the evidence - Parsis, British, the oral history of the present - suggests that the majority of Parsis remained loyal to the crown throughout the political agitation of the early twentieth century."
